Score — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the Score platform and Score Assistant AI feature (the "Services") operated by BellieBub LLC ("BellieBub," "we"). It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms. Violating this AUP is a material breach and may result in suspension or termination.
Effective date: October 4, 2026 · Last updated: October 4, 2026
1. Core principle
Use Score lawfully, professionally, and as intended: an AI decision-support tool for music educators that drafts for human review. Do not use it to harm others, break the law, defeat its safeguards, or in place of professional judgment.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use the Services to:
2.1 Illegal or harmful activity
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person; promote violence or self-harm.
- Create or distribute content that sexualizes minors, or any child sexual abuse material — a zero-tolerance violation reported to authorities as required by law.
2.2 Privacy and student-data violations
- Enter students' personal information (names tied to identifiers, contact details, government or student IDs, images, audio/voice recordings, health/IEP/504 data, or other education-record data) into the Services in the current adults-only posture, which is not covered by a school Data Processing Agreement. Use the provided placeholders and the scrub feature.
- Upload personal information of any individual without a lawful basis and, where required, their (or a parent/guardian's or school's) consent.
- Attempt to re-identify de-identified data.
2.3 Security and integrity
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach authentication or security, except under a written authorization or a published security-testing policy.
- Circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or access controls; script or automate abuse.
- Introduce malware, or interfere with or overload the Services (including denial-of-service).
- Reverse-engineer the Services or extract underlying models, prompts, or system instructions, except as permitted by law.
2.4 Misuse of the AI
- Attempt to make the AI produce prohibited content or bypass safety controls (including "jailbreak"/prompt-injection attacks).
- Represent AI Output as human-authored where disclosure is legally or ethically required, or remove AI-transparency notices.
- Rely on Output as professional, legal, medical, financial, accreditation, or special-education advice, or deploy Output that affects a person without human review.
- Use the Services to make automated consequential decisions about students (e.g., final grades, discipline, placement) — Score is decision-support only.
2.5 Commercial and platform abuse
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted.
- Use the Services to build a competing product, or to benchmark for a competitor without our consent.
- Send spam or messages violating CAN-SPAM/TCPA using content generated in the Services.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or share individual credentials.
3. Fair use of shared resources
The Services enforce reasonable per-user rate limits and quotas to protect availability and manage cost. Automated, bulk, or abusive request patterns may be throttled or blocked. Contact us for higher-volume needs rather than circumventing limits.
4. Reporting abuse
Report violations, security issues, or content concerns to contact@schoolmusic.services. We investigate reports and act as appropriate.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate access, and cooperate with law enforcement. We may act immediately without notice for serious violations (illegal content, security threats, risk to others). We are not obligated to monitor, but may do so to operate and protect the Services and comply with law.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP as the Services and legal landscape evolve. Material changes are handled under the Terms' change process.
